The Journal of Innovation in Multidisciplinary Research and Technology (JIMRT), published by EDTECH PUBLISHERS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED, provides the following Terms and Conditions to govern the use of our website, submission of manuscripts, and publication processes. By accessing our website, submitting content, or engaging with JIMRT, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

2. Manuscript Submission and Publication
2.1 Submission Requirements
- Authors must submit manuscripts via the Submission Portal in accordance with JIMRT’s Research Guidelines.
- Submissions must be original, not previously published, and not under consideration elsewhere (including preprints, unless explicitly permitted).
- Authors are responsible for ensuring compliance with formatting, ethical, and anonymization requirements for JIMRT’s double-blind peer review process.
2.2 Authorship and Contributions
- All listed authors must have made significant contributions to the research and agree to the submission and publication of the manuscript.
- Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest and provide accurate information about funding sources in the submission cover letter.
- Changes to authorship after submission require written consent from all authors and approval from the editorial office.
2.3 Article Processing Charges (APCs)
- JIMRT operates as an open-access journal and may charge an Article Processing Charge (APC) upon acceptance to cover publication costs. Details are available on the Submission Portal.
- APCs are non-refundable once a manuscript is accepted and enters the production process.
- Fee waivers or discounts may be considered for authors from low-income regions, subject to editorial approval. Requests must be submitted at the time of manuscript submission.
2.4 Licensing and Copyright
- Upon acceptance, authors grant JIMRT a non-exclusive license to publish and distribute their work under a Creative Commons license (e.g., CC BY), ensuring open-access availability.
- Authors retain copyright of their work but agree to allow JIMRT to distribute, reproduce, and archive the published article.
- Third parties wishing to reuse published content must adhere to the terms of the Creative Commons license and provide proper attribution.
2.5 Withdrawal and Retraction
- Authors may withdraw a manuscript prior to acceptance by notifying the editorial office at editor@jimrt.org. Withdrawals after acceptance may incur administrative fees.
- JIMRT reserves the right to retract published articles in cases of ethical misconduct (e.g., plagiarism, data fabrication) or significant errors. Retracted articles will be clearly marked, and authors and readers will be notified.
3. Peer Review Process
3.1 Double-Blind Peer Review
- JIMRT employs a double-blind peer review process, where the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed to ensure impartiality.
- Authors must anonymize their manuscripts to comply with this process, as outlined in the Research Guidelines.
- Reviewers are expected to provide objective, constructive feedback and declare any conflicts of interest.
3.2 Confidentiality
- All manuscripts and reviewer feedback are treated as confidential. Reviewers and editors must not share or use manuscript content for personal purposes.
- Authors must not attempt to identify or contact reviewers during or after the review process.
3.3 Editorial Decisions
- Editorial decisions (e.g., accept, revise, reject) are based on reviewer feedback and the manuscript’s alignment with JIMRT’s standards.
- Authors may appeal editorial decisions by submitting a detailed justification to editor@jimrt.org. Appeals are reviewed by an independent editorial board member.
4. Ethical Standards
4.1 Plagiarism and Misconduct
- JIMRT strictly prohibits plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, verbatim copying, or improper paraphrasing. All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software.
- Any ethical misconduct, such as data fabrication, falsification, or inappropriate authorship, will result in rejection or retraction and may be reported to relevant institutions.
- Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material (e.g., figures, tables) and must provide documentation upon submission.
4.2 Research Ethics
- Research involving human participants must comply with ethical standards (e.g., informed consent, Institutional Review Board approval) and include a statement confirming compliance.
- Studies involving animals must adhere to ethical guidelines for animal welfare and obtain necessary approvals.
- Authors must disclose any ethical concerns or limitations in their research.
4.3 Conflicts of Interest
- Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial, personal, or professional conflicts of interest that could influence the research or review process.
- Reviewers or editors with conflicts of interest must recuse themselves from handling the manuscript.
