Abstract

In modern organizations, the influence of business management policies and leadership practices is crucial in molding organizational culture and affecting employee performance. As the global business landscape evolves rapidly, it is essential for organizations to synchronize their policies and leadership tactics to cultivate a work environment that is productive, ethical, and innovative. This study seeks to investigate the connections between business management policies, leadership practices, organizational culture, and employee performance. Additionally, it examines how organizational culture mediates the relationship between leadership and performance outcomes. The research employs a mixed-method approach, combining quantitative and qualitative insights. Primary data were gathered through structured questionnaires and interviews, while secondary data were sourced from peer-reviewed journal articles, reports, and case studies. To analyze the relationships among variables, statistical tools such as regression analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equation modeling (SEM) are utilized. The study reveals that strategic business management policies, including transparent HR policies, participative decision-making, ethical governance, and work-life balance initiatives, have a significant impact on employee motivation and job satisfaction. Leadership practices, particularly transformational and participative leadership, are closely linked to a positive organizational culture and enhanced employee performance. Organizational culture acts as a mediating factor that converts policy direction and leadership behavior into tangible performance outcomes. Empirical evidence from previous research indicates that leadership style and culture together account for a substantial portion of the variance in employee performance. The study concludes that organizations should integrate well-crafted management policies with flexible leadership approaches to foster a high-performance culture. The findings provide valuable insights for policymakers, HR professionals, and business leaders seeking to improve organizational effectiveness and sustainability. Recommendations are made for enhancing leadership development programs, revising HR policies, and reinforcing cultural alignment to achieve better employee outcomes.
